My First Official Post

This is my first post and I am so excited to start this new adventure. Today was a not-so-ordinary day. It started out pretty usual - coffee, scan my daily blogs and figure out which tv show Emma should watch. Looked like rain outside for a bit, but the sun started to slide out of the clouds. My friend, and co-worker, Lea came over to take my picture for a publication called "The Bridge." I am so giddy about being nominated for the talent/skill section...guess you could say it is very exciting to show others a little bit of my world. Thank you to that "special gal" who nominated me! I also had my hair cut & colored today...decided to go deep red (quite a contrast from my mousy-brown color). I think I am going to like it. I didn't have a moment to relax & grab the scrapping supplies. Maybe Friday... Have a great rest of the evening...what's left of it.
